Here are a few pictures from our June HOSA International Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN. The students, Esha Jhawar, Akash Patel, Julia Hernandez, and Julia Chan, all represented Esperanza professionally and excellently. Students could attend health-related workshops, participate in the Anatomage Table tournament, compete in related events, volunteer to assist with other competitive events, visit downtown Nashville, and learn how to line dance! Overall, it was an amazing life-changing trip for the students.

We took over 25 students to the State Leadership Conference in Long Beach for a weekend of challenging competitions, networking, and breakout sessions. There were over 3,000 students from across the state to compete for a top spot that would qualify them to move on to compete at the International Leadership Conference in Nashville. Esperanza was proud to have four students punch their tickets to Tennessee.
Working on Injections Skills
Our seniors have been putting in a lot of work this year to solidify all of their hands-on skills, carefully abiding by all state, district, and CDC safety guidelines. Although they did not have the wonderful opportunity to get out in the field for their externships, they are geared up and ready to take it to the next level.
