I have lived in Yorba Linda for the past 47 years. I attended Mable Paine Elementary, Yorba Linda Middle School, and Troy High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from California State University of Fullerton and my Master's in Special Education from National University. I have been married for 29 years and have 3 beautiful children, all of whom are graduates of Esperanza High School. I have taught Language Arts and Academic Services for the past 25 years, the last 24 years at Esperanza High School. I am also the Academic Services Department Chair and Election Chairperson for APLE (Teachers' Union).
