I have been teaching at Esperanza High School since 2009. I have been around the school much longer as I am also a graduate of Esperanza class of 2003. I currently teach US History and Psychology, but I have also taught Government and World History. I am currently the Varsity Boy's Volleyball coach and have been a part of the coaching staff since 2008. I have a passion for innovation in the classroom and currently teach using the flipped mastery method of teaching. My entire US History course is taught online using Canvas. My colleague, Brent Willis, and I have developed our own state of the art teaching style that we call You Will Love History. We have created our own YouTube channel with videos that align with our curriculum. Students now have access to everything they need for class, anywhere in the world.
